Famous Psychic Medium: John Edward
John Edward demonstrated his abilities as a psychic medium on his TV show, Crossing Over with John Edward. The show was also syndicated and telecast on the SCI FI Channel in the US and LIVING TV in the United Kingdom.
John gave his psychic readings live during his shows. The format of the show was so designed that it involved the public participation in form of question and answer sessions. The audience was supposed to provide some information in the questionnaire that they were required to fill before asking their questions. But they did not mention anything about themselves, their families or their loved ones with whom they were trying to connect in the questionnaire.
The answers that John gave to the questions of the audience about their dear departed ones were based upon the images and clues that he received from the other side, the Cross Over World. Of course, he sought the audience’s help in interpreting and confirming them. The audience could, however, add some details at their discretion to the revelations made by Edward.
The show used a split screen. One half of it showed soundless reading and the other half, the questioning members of the audience discussing their experiences.
The program also used the Voice-over technique, also called off-the-camera or off-the-stage commentary in which John revealed more insights to the audience and provided inspirational messages.
Since John was a psychic medium, it was, in fact, his spirit guides that assisted him in connecting with the spirits of the dead. The audience simply validated the answers provided by him about the lives of the dead people.
Later on Edward visited the members of the bereaved families to check how their experience of connecting with their loved ones had changed their lives.
This, in fact, is and should be the objective of a mediumship reading. It is not just to provide a few pieces of information about the dead people, but bring about a positive change in the life of the survivors.
